The last few days we have seen an improvement in the fluke fishing, still alot of shorts, but we've seen more keepers. The bluefishing continues to be a bit frustrating, there has been no real pattern to them, we fish different spots each day. We had our first overnighter last Fri/Sat. Managed 6 small YFT on the chunk at night, 2 nice YFT and a white trolling. all the squid we wanted for bait, had to use them, they ate everything else. Anchored in 475 for the night, trolled the others in 50-55 fa..
We have a couple Sat.'s open, Aug 16,23 due to cancellations. Could do overnight, day troll or inshore trip on either day.
